Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tyzle collects, uses, retains, and protects information for the Tyzle website and private-beta endurance coaching service. Tyzle is the public brand and DBA of Paravit, LLC. In this policy, "Tyzle," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Paravit, LLC doing business as Tyzle. The website is tyzle.com. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@tyzle.com.

Scope

This policy applies to Tyzle websites, applications, private-beta services, provider connection features, support interactions, and related communications. It does not apply to third-party services that Tyzle does not control, including provider websites and apps.

Information users provide

Users may provide account information such as name, email address, authentication details, profile settings, support messages, private-beta inquiry content, and communication preferences.

Athletes may also provide athlete profile information, goals, sport focus, availability, constraints, preferences, notes, and other context used to operate the service and personalize the athlete experience.

Activity and provider data

Tyzle may process imported activity data, local FIT files, provider artifacts, normalized activity summaries, activity streams where available, source references, provenance, synchronization state, and deterministic measurements derived from that evidence.

Strava data is accessed only after athlete authorization. Tyzle currently requests Strava read and activity-read permissions, including access required to read the athlete's activity history. Tyzle does not currently request permission to post activities to Strava.

FIT files and provider artifacts may be retained as immutable evidence so Tyzle can reproduce measurements, preserve provenance, and improve the athlete's personal experience. Missing values remain unknown rather than being fabricated.

Technical and security logs

Tyzle may collect technical logs, device and browser information, authentication events, security events, request metadata, synchronization status, error reports, and abuse prevention signals. Logs should not intentionally contain provider access tokens, raw secrets, or unnecessary sensitive athlete data.

How information is used

Tyzle uses information to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure the service;
  • create and manage accounts;
  • import, synchronize, and process athlete-authorized activity history;
  • preserve activity evidence, provenance, and reproducible measurements;
  • analyze training history and personalize the athlete's Tyzle experience;
  • surface current training context, evidence gaps, and explainable athlete understanding;
  • provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
  • prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect service integrity;
  • comply with legal obligations when applicable.

No sale, advertising, or unrelated marketing use

Tyzle does not sell athlete data. Tyzle does not use connected athlete data for behavioral advertising. Tyzle does not disclose provider data to data brokers. Provider data is used to provide athlete-requested Tyzle functionality and improve that athlete's personal experience, not for unrelated marketing use.

Service providers and infrastructure processors

Tyzle may use service providers and infrastructure processors for hosting, storage, authentication, email, monitoring, security, and support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Tyzle and are not permitted by Tyzle to use connected athlete data for their own advertising purposes.

Legal requirements and business transfer

Tyzle may disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and service integrity.

If Tyzle is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a policy that provides materially similar protections for athlete data.

Retention

Tyzle retains information for as long as needed to provide the service, preserve reproducible athlete evidence, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and operate backups. Retention periods may differ by data type.

Provider disconnection and deletion requests

Disconnecting a provider stops future synchronization and removes stored provider authorization where possible. Previously imported data may remain in Tyzle until the athlete requests deletion or deletes the account, subject to legal requirements, backup-retention requirements, and any provider-specific retention obligations that apply.

Athletes can request account deletion or data deletion by contacting privacy@tyzle.com. Tyzle may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Data security

Tyzle uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including authentication controls, tenant and athlete scoping, encrypted provider credentials where implemented, and secure handling of secrets. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Tyzle does not claim HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or CCPA certification.

International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Tyzle or its service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from the athlete's country of residence.

Children

Tyzle is intended for users who are old enough to enter into the service relationship under applicable law. Tyzle is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Provider-specific note: Strava

Use of Strava data is also subject to Strava's terms, privacy policy, API terms, and athlete authorization choices. Disconnecting Strava from Tyzle stops future Tyzle synchronization, but it does not change data the athlete has separately maintained with Strava.

Changes to this policy

Tyzle may update this policy as the service evolves. If changes are material, Tyzle will provide notice through reasonable channels, such as the website, application, or email where available.
